Opening DOCX Files on a Mac, Without Microsoft Office Apr 15, 2016 - 14 Comments Mac users may encounter DOCX files from time to time, often sent from a Windows user as an email attachment or otherwise, as the.docx file types are standard document files created in newer versions of Microsoft Office. I upgraded from Mac OS 10.8.5 to 10.11 and the program does seem to at least open, but it immediately hangs up and goes into the 'not responding' mode and then you simply have to force quit. Thus there is no way to keep using it without some type of 'fix'. Dec 05, 2017  Microsoft Word in Office 2008 suddenly does not open, but the other Office applications do. As with the question from Kristina Cobb on April 9, the Word Application icon is in my Office 2008 folder but every time I try to open the application I get a message saying that I should either move it back to the Office folder or reinstall Word. Apr 16, 2018  As a last resort, you can try to access the document in Microsoft Word X or Word 2004 on a Mac, as some older documents are inaccessible with the Word 2008 compatibility mode. If the document can be opened with an older version of the program, save the file with a new name, and then again try to use it on the Mac with Word 2008.

If I want to install Office for Mac, do I need to also install Bootcamp or Parralles? All my work partners are in MS Office - I have a MACBook Pro. The MAC rep suggested I try Parallels then installing Windows XP, then Outlook - I got as far as the Parrallels and XP but (for me) it was to cumbersome. So I un-installed all of it and looked up Bootcamp.

I need to work in Outlook and Word - so If I get Office for MAC do I need to use Bootcamp or Parralles in order to make it all work? Thanks for the help. • Asked by fn • Oct 29, 2009.

Dj bot discord. Lower both Volume bars to the begining (-50dB) and hit Apply • Go to Capture • Keep Capture mode as 'Automatically use best mode' but change Capture device to 'Line 1' (This will only appear if you have correctly installed VAC). Software Needed: • TeamSpeak 3 • or • Virtual Audio Channel! Activate 'Voice Activation Detection' and drag its bar to -50dB. • Go to Settings -> Tools • Go to Playback and create a new Profile (hit the '+' button) • Keep Playback mode as 'Automatically use best mode' and 'Playback device as 'Default'. () Install All software and reboot your PC before continuing Setting Teamspeak Up: • Open Teamspeak and connect to your channel.

Have you applied the SP1 (12.1.0) update yet? That must be applied before the 12.1.1 minor update can be installed. What exact level is your installation of Office at the moment? (Use the About _____ command in any Office program's title menu to find out.) If that isn't the problem please provide a more complete description of what does/doesn't happen when you tried to download & apply the update. What is the exact wording of any error messages? I think you might have an incomplete file there. If not, change it to open with the Disk Image Mounter application and it should pop onto your desktop. Mailto: RoseBleu 21/7/2008, 15:58 น. I'm having a similar problem. I am running OSX 10.4.11 on a powerpc iMac and have verified that Office 2008 is v.12.1.0. I have downloaded the.dmg file and it has mounted on my desktop. When I go to install it, I agree to all the licenses, click continue and get to the page that asks where I want to install the update. My HD icon is shown with a big red Stop sign with an exclamation mark.
